Along with activists and advocates across the world, we are saddened to hear of the passing of our inspirational friend Saleemul Huq.
We want to recognize his work as an early supporter of the Global Public Investment approach as an important way to bring together the finances required for climate adaptation, mitigation and loss and damage. He was a member of the founding Steering Committee of our global network and was always generous with his time and wise advice.
We send our condolences to his family and friends, to ICCCAD colleagues, and to all who were inspired by his ability to achieve practical steps forward while always maintaining his passion for true justice and transformation. His warmth will be dearly missed, but his visionary example will continue to inspire us for years to come.
